Fred Pelzer escaped the strip mall wasteland of New Jersey at the age of 18 for a theater and creative writing double degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Spent some time delivering seventy pound cases of seltzer in ninety degree heat. Swapped this for a desk job and a negative wind chill in Chicago. Cofounded a theater company. Cofounded a production company. Best of all, got married. And always, always writing.

Fred is a creator of the webseries Losers. His short story collection Static was published by the University of Indianapolis's Etchings Press. He previously held the positions of Founder and Executive Producer for Cloud Gate Productions, Artistic Director for Redeye Theatre Project, Fiction Editor for Wyvern Lit, and Business Manager for Tabula Rasa Theatre Company.
